Tony's parents were so cute, posing and just being in love. I swear, they were almost like newlyweds! It was so fun to see!

After the informal photo shoot, we all went up to the Roof and had a delicious dinner of Prime Rib, Chicken Cordon Blue, Ham, Salmon, and some kind of fish Creole, plus all of the salad, breads, sides, and desserts you could eat. We talked and laughed, and talked and laughed some more. One of Tony's favorite moments came when Wendy pulled out this "Muffin Joke" that was so silly but made her husband Dennis (Bordley) laugh not just once, but twice!

Well, after dinner, Linda opened up their gifts. I had made a pillow that had a little wedding cake in the middle, with their names in the first layer, 50 years in the second layer, and their dates on the third layer, with a tiny bride and groom at the top. Underneath the cake it said "Families can be together forever." Then, I made 36 little hearts that bordered the design, with 2 gold ones in the middle representing Dennis and Linda, a silver heart for their daughter Mary who passed away, 6 purple hearts for the remaining six children, 20 pink hearts for their 20 grandchildren, 5 red hearts for the people who married into the family, 2 yellow hearts for the men who married grandchildren, and 1 light pink heart for the new great-grandbaby that was born last month! I think they both liked it even though Linda's face may not seem like it... :)

When we were all done with pictures, we headed to the parking lot so Dennis could get back to lock up the church. While he went to get the car, Tony took his mom on a wild wheelchair ride through the parking garage, and I thought this picture summed up how much she liked it...

Finally, the happy couple said their goodbyes, and headed off into the sunset. Well, not really, because it was almost midnight, but you get the idea.

It was a great night for a great couple. Happy 50th Dennis and Linda! We love you guys!
